Shin-chan's father. A low-level businessperson, he is the main (and only) income source of the family, with 32 years of mortgage payments left on the house. He is a stereotypical Japanese employee and frequently talks in his sleep, revealing that even in his dreams he is being scolded by his boss. Like his son, he is attracted to pretty women and often gets beat up by his wife Mitzi for it.
